Founder

Marcus Maxwell-Batten, founder of SOLS Off Grid, is a qualified electrician with a background in Marine Biology and has an MSc in Coastal & Ocean Policy. For 7 years he had a diving and wild excursions business in Panama where he saw the need and identified a market gap for off grid solar lighting and portable power. This unique blend of skills and practical insights led to the creation of SOLS Off Grid.

Brian Wong

Industrial Designer

Joined the team in 2021 with a Master's degree in Industrial Design, Brian specializes in product ideation, prototyping, and 3D CAD for manufacturing. He is a dedicated innovator, known for creating precision-engineered prototypes that combines form and function.
